Artist Statement

Backpacking trips to remote places in Southern Utah gave me the desire to capture landscapes with watercolor painting. Light effects and vibrant color attract me to the next subject. Each one is a challenge and the results always surprise me. That's the struggle as well as the delight of it.

Artist Biography

I grew up in Delaware and moved to Utah as a young adult. The beauty of this state is what has made me stay. I am married now with a teenage daughter; our outdoor adventures are still my inspiration.
